Course

RECL2P11 The Social Psychology of Leisure and Recreation

Compensation

Pay rates depend on qualifications:

  • Undergraduate rate ($22.07/hr) for those without a 4-year honours or 3-year pass degree (effective Sept 1, 2024).
  • Graduate rate ($34.73/hr) for those with a 4-year honours or 3-year pass degree (effective Sept 1, 2024).
  • Additional duties are compensated at the Teaching Assistant rate.
Duties

Responsibilities include scheduled contact time with students, preparation, grading, student consultation, exam proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and course administration, as per Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 80% in the course.
  • Third- or fourth-year students in Recreation and Leisure Studies or graduates of such programs.
  • Effective communication skills, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines.
