POLI 2P91: Political Theory I
Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator, and Lab Demonstrator positions are paid according to qualifications:
The workload is approximately 60 hours, including facilitating small group discussions on ancient political philosophy, grading, providing feedback, and maintaining records. Duties conform to Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement, including scheduled contact time and non-classroom activities like preparation, grading, office hours, and course administration.
Must be enrolled in or have completed a postgraduate degree in Political Science with emphasis on political theory. Must have completed POLI 2P91 (or equivalent), possess strong essay writing skills, good organizational skills, and prior experience as a teaching assistant or similar leadership role.
