POLI 2P31: Comparative Politics: Political Institutions and Approaches
Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator, and Lab Demonstrator positions are paid according to the qualifications that the employee holds.
The workload for this position is 60 hours. Duties include facilitating small group discussions, grading assignments and exams, providing feedback, and maintaining records of student performance. Responsibilities align with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement, including scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom activities such as preparation, grading, proctoring, and office hours.
Must be enrolled in or have completed a postgraduate degree in Political Science with emphasis on Comparative Politics. Must articulate theoretical concepts clearly, have strong essay writing skills, good organizational skills, and prior experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar leadership role.
