Job summary

McGill University’s Department of Microbiology & Immunology is seeking a course assistant to support The Business of Science (MIMM 387). The role involves grading short written answers, entering grades into a spreadsheet, and invigilating the mid-term exam.

You will also assist with uploading course content and managing student questions on MyCourses. English communication is essential, with French desirable.

Qualifications

• Preferably knowledge of Immunology & Microbiology and key research methods; ideally having taken MIMM 211 or MIMM 214 or a 200-level biology/biomedical course.
• Knowledge organizing content and grading on MyCourses.

Responsibilities

• Grading short written answers in quizzes and exams according to an outlined format.
• Entering grades into a spreadsheet.
• Invigilating the mid-term exam.
• Assist with uploading course content and managing student questions/comments on MyCourses.
