Job summary

McGill University in Montreal is seeking teaching assistants for MIMM 385 to grade quizzes and exams, manage MyCourses content, and guide 10-16 undergraduates in a hands‑on Immunology course. You will provide feedback, participate in TA meetings, and supervise lab sessions in the Duff C-floor labs.

Strong knowledge of Immunology and Microbiology is preferred, with familiarity of MIMM materials. English communication is essential; French desirable.

Qualifications

• Preferably knowledge of Immunology & Microbiology and key research methods.
• Solid understanding of immunology is a must.
• Experience or coursework in MIMM topics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grade short written answers in quizzes and exams according to an outlined format.
• Enter grades into a spreadsheet and assist with uploading course content on MyCourses.
• Instruct and guide 10-16 undergraduates in a practical Immunology course and grade assessments.
• Attend TA meetings and be present during midweek lab sessions in Duff C-floor labs.
• Instruct students on safe laboratory procedures and respond to questions by email or office hours.
• Adjust duties if course content or evaluation schemes change.
