Position Summary:
This TA position is for MGCR-222, Intro to Organizational Behaviour, in the Fall of 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for masters or PhD students interested in gaining experience and familiarity with OB course content, as well as how to work with and manage undergraduates. The TA will help coordinate across several MGCR-222 Sections to ensure consistency and standardization. The TA position includes the following duties:
1. Course attendance (32 hours)
a. Evaluate student attendance and participation.
b. Assist with managing and distributing classroom materials.
2. Managing graders during in-class essays (up to 25 hours total; 5 hours per in-class essay)
a. Coordinate distribution of in-class essays and other materials on myCourses.
b. Five in-class essays occur over the course of the semester. Graders generally have 10 days to complete grading for each in-class essay. During that time, they may have questions regarding how to grade certain content. The TA is the first line of defense for these questions and will be expected to answer questions via email as needed.
3. Ad hoc meetings with the Professor (up to 4 hours)
a. The TA will be expected to attend ad hoc meetings with the Professor, as needed. This will include a training session at the beginning of the semester, as well as a meeting before grading begins for each Assignment.
