Course Title: Games, Genres, and Aesthetics

Compensation

Positions as Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator, and Lab Demonstrator are paid based on qualifications:

• Undergraduate rate ($22.07/hr) for those without a 4-year honours or 3-year pass degree (effective September 1, 2024).
• Graduate rate ($34.73/hr) for those with a 4-year honours or 3-year pass degree (effective September 1, 2024).
• Additional duties as a Teaching Assistant are compensated at the appropriate rate.

Duties

Responsibilities align with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement, including scheduled contact time, seminar preparation, student consultations, grading, exam proctoring, attending lectures, office hours, and other administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Completion of third-year undergraduate studies or higher.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g., course evaluations, references).
• Academic background related to video games.
