Course Details

Title of Course: Foundations of Interactive Arts and Science

Compensation

Pay rates depend on qualifications:

  • Undergraduate rate: $22.07/hour (effective September 1, 2024)
  • Graduate rate: $34.73/hour (effective September 1, 2024)

Additional duties are compensated at the appropriate rate.

Duties

Responsibilities include scheduled contact time, preparation, grading, student consultations, exam proctoring, and administrative tasks, in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement.

Qualifications
  • Second-year undergraduate or higher in a related field (computer programming, scripting, or technological prototyping)
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness
  • Knowledge in two or more areas such as website development, Photoshop, Javascript, physical computing (e.g., Arduino), video editing, XML/HXML
