This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group).
Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator, and Lab Demonstrator positions are paid according to the qualifications that the employee holds. Employees without a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the undergraduate rate - $22.07 per hour. Employees with a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the graduate rate - $34.73 per hour. Additional duties will be compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate.
Responsibilities include familiarizing with lecture topics, explaining and answering questions, scheduled online contact with students, preparing materials, grading, proctoring exams, holding office hours, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Applicants must demonstrate that their qualifications are equivalent if they do not meet these criteria.
