This posting is for two (2) unionized contractual appointments. A Teaching Assistant is a McGill Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM) .

Total Hours of Work per Term: 45 hours each

Position Summary:
This requisition is for two positions, at 45 hours each, in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology. Effective dates of appointment are August 20 to December 26, 2025. Course dates are August 27 to December 3, 2025.

Posting Dates (14 days): May 20, 2025 – June 2, 2025

Responsibilities may include:

  • Marking

  • Preparing Class Materials

  • Leading Discussion Groups

  • Assisting Students' learning

  • Attending classes ***Regular class attendance may be required. Candidates who apply for this posting should be available during the scheduled class time for this course (Fall 2025 Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:35AM to 9:55AM and from 2:35PM to 3:55PM)


Qualifications:
