Position Summary:

Teaching and Mentorship involves:

  • Teaching, facilitating and mentoring students in learning the basic procedures for fixed prosthodontics in a simulated setting.
  • Evaluating students’ assignments and providing feedback.
  • Demonstrating proper technical steps to individual students when required.
  • Supervising examination sessions.

Duration:
Start date: January 6, 2026
End date: June 3, 2026

Qualifications:

  • DMD from a Faculty of Dentistry.
  • Experience with teaching simulation training for pre-clinical dental students in fixed prosthodontics is considered an asset for this position.

Knowledge and experience with teaching fixed prosthodontic simulation procedures:

  • Alginate impressions
  • Articulating models on semi adjustable articulator
  • Wax-up on stone models
  • Tooth preparation for crowns and bridges
  • Temporary crown fabrication with PMMA and Composite
  • Adjustments and cementation of crowns
  • Knowledge on the use of digital scanners is an asset
