This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the CUPE4207-1 (Employee Group).

Course: COSC 3P95 Software Analysis and Testing

Compensation:

  • Employees without a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the undergraduate rate - $22.07/hr (effective September 1, 2024).
  • Employees with a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the graduate rate - $34.73/hr (effective September 1, 2024).
  • Additional duties as a Teaching Assistant will be compensated at the appropriate rate.

Duties:

The duties include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom activities such as preparing seminar materials, student consultations, grading, exam proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other administrative tasks as required, in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 80% in the course.
  • Third- or fourth-year students enrolled in Computer Science or graduates with a Computer Science degree or equivalent.
  • Effective communication skills, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines are required.
