Position Summary:
Attend all lectures. Assist lecturers in all audio-visuals. Post lectures and course materials on MyCourses. Answer preliminary E-mail queries from students. Review relevant lecture material. Conduct two pre-exam tutorials (midterm and final). Help in exam invigilation and exam handling. Invigilate exam reviews.
Qualifications:
A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student at the Master’s or Doctoral level, at McGill University, employed to assist a course Supervisor. Have a B.Sc. or B.A. in Microbiology and Immunology. Preferably would have taken MIMM 211. Preferably a graduate student from Microbiology & Immunology.
Language Requirements: Effective communication skills in English are essential. An effective communication skill in French is desirable.
