Course: APCO 1P00 Introduction to Media Computation

Compensation:

Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator, and Lab Demonstrator roles are paid based on qualifications:

  • Undergraduate rate ($22.07/hr) for those without a 4-year honours or 3-year pass degree (effective September 1, 2024)
  • Graduate rate ($34.73/hr) for those with a 4-year honours or 3-year pass degree (effective September 1, 2024)

Additional duties as a Teaching Assistant will be compensated accordingly.

Duties: Responsibilities include scheduled contact time with students and non-classroom activities such as preparation, grading, proctoring, attending lectures, office hours, and course administration, as per Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of APCO 1P00 with at least 80%
  • Third- or fourth-year Computer Science student or a graduate with a minimum 75% average or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines
