Teacher Support and Student Research Administrator - Grande Prairie

Role Overview

The Teacher Support and Student Research Administrator will work under the supervision of the Medical Education Expansion Manager, supporting both teaching and scholarly activities within the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry's Northern Alberta Medical Program. This includes coordinating teaching needs, recruitment, educator development, and supporting research activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate teaching needs, recruitment, onboarding, and development of educators.
  • Support scheduling, instructor payments, and assessment activities.
  • Assist with research milestones, faculty-student matching, grant writing, and resource development.
  • Provide administrative support to NAMP and liaise with related programs and committees.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree in Education or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a complex environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of administrative experience in medical or academic settings.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and event planning experience.
