POSITION DESCRIPTION:

TEACHER ON CALL – SENIOR SCHOOL

We are currently seeking Teacher on Call applications for grades 8 to 12.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver the core program requirements in the assigned subject area to students in grades 8-12, following the BC Ministry of Education curriculum.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor of Education degree, with undergraduate studies in an appropriate discipline.
• Hold a valid BC teaching certificate.
• Experience teaching at the secondary level (experience with AP exams and knowledge of the Harkness Teaching philosophy are assets).
