We are seeking an engaging and enthusiastic teacher who will nurture and support each child's individual needs through the creation of a caring, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for student learning and achievement, with the ability to engage, inspire, and support students with a variety of learning needs and abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building positive relationships with students, families, and staff while fostering a welcoming and collaborative learning environment. The candidate will be an expert in all things Kindergarten, with experience in early literacy and numeracy development and a strong understanding of the unique academic, emotional, social and physical needs of young learners.
This is a part time probationary position (0.5 FTE) to commence the first day of the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, delivering, assessing and reporting student outcomes in accordance with the Alberta Kindergarten curriculum while creating meaningful and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children. Responsibilities will include meeting the academic, emotional, and physical needs of Kindergarten students and building positive, collaborative working relationships with parents and guardians in support of student growth and success. Preference will be given to applicants with previous training and experience in Early Childhood Development.
