An established educational institution is seeking a dedicated Grade 8-12 Resource Teacher for a limited duration contract. A 0.5 FTE - Grade 8-12 Resource - Limited Duration Contract is required by School District No. 57 (Prince George), effective February 3, 2025, but not beyond June 30, 2025. The assignment will be at Alternate Community Programs. Applicants with assessment and trauma-informed practice experience are preferred. Those with the necessary qualifications and strong references will be given preference. School District No.57 resides on the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nations, McLeod Lake Indian Band, and the Simpcw First Nations. We serve 41 schools, including 32 Elementary schools, 8 Secondary schools, and 1 District Learning Support center for alternative and additional learning opportunities. We provide educational programs for approximately 15,000 students, including early learning, after-school art and sports programming, trades programs, and dual credit programs with local post-secondary institutions. We support Indigenous students through Local Education Agreements, co-constructing educational services with each Nation.
