Prairie Land School Division is seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher for a full-time position starting with the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves delivering diverse instruction to Grades 1-9, focusing on effective teaching strategies and online learning proficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate and have experience in adapting to unique learning abilities.
We are searching for a committed, enthusiastic individual to complement our team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for student learning and achievement, with the flexibility to adapt to a variety of unique learning abilities. You will be comfortable with computers and the use of the Internet. Familiarity with a variety of online programs will be beneficial, in particular the Canvas LMS system. You will display a thorough knowledge of effective teaching strategies and excellent communication skills, along with a dedicated approach to learning. Preference will be given to an individual who demonstrates proficiency, education, and experience in operating in an online learning environment. Expertise with both PC and MAC computer platforms is desirable.
This is a full-time probationary teaching position beginning on the first day of the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves delivering instruction to students in Grades 1 through 9 across various subjects through both synchronous and asynchronous formats.
