Job summary

TD is seeking a Tax Operations professional to support its global Tax Operations function, including Documentation, Transaction Tax, International Tax, Withholding and Reporting. The role analyzes new rules, implements changes, and ensures regulatory compliance across TD's entities and geographies.

You will validate forms, classify clients, and lead initiatives to improve processes while coordinating across time zones in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years work experience.
• Experience with Tax, Unclaimed Property, Business Analysis and Project Management.
• Ability to identify, upscale, and resolve problems/issues.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the firm's compliance with global tax and regulatory obligations.
• Validate global tax forms and setup client classifications across multiple databases.
• Analyze and provide tax feedback on new activity reviews to support implementation of new products, services, and geographical activity.
• Recommend process improvements and document tax processes, identify gaps, and implement more efficient controls/workflows.
• Lead business analysis on global regulatory changes, new rules, and process improvements.
• Process large amounts of data to transmit to third party vendors and clients.
• Respond to a high volume of internal and external client and third-party inquiries.
• Manage exception processing and perform reconciliations to support controls and tax compliance.
• Complete tax-related processes across multiple TD legal entities and business lines.
• Consolidate a high volume of data from multiple sources and load into Tax databases.
• Point of contact for Unclaimed Property Reporting and Asset Recovery for TD Securities.

Job Description

Tax Operations is seeking a new member to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the global Tax Operations function (Documentation, Transaction Tax, International Tax, Withholding and Reporting). Your role will be responsible for analyzing new rules, process changes and supporting tax regulatory compliance for the firm.
