  • Process large amounts of data to transmit to third party vendors and clients.
  • Respond to a high volume of internal and external client and third-party inquiries.
  • Complete tax-related processes across multiple TD legal entities and business lines.

Job Description:

Tax Operations is seeking a new member to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the global Tax Operations function (Documentation, Transaction Tax, International Tax, Withholding and Reporting). Your role will be responsible for analyzing new rules, process changes and supporting tax regulatory compliance for the firm.

Some of Your Key Responsibilities Include
  • Manage the firm's compliance with global tax and regulatory obligations
  • Validate global tax forms and setup client classifications across multiple databases
  • Analyze and provide tax feedback on new activity reviews to support implementation of new products, services, and geographical activity
  • Confidence to recommend process improvements: experience documenting tax processes, identifying gaps, and implementing more efficient controls/workflows
  • Lead business analysis on global regulatory changes, new rules, and process improvements
  • Process large amounts of data to transmit to third party vendors and clients
  • Respond to a high volume of internal and external client and third-party inquiries
  • Manage exception processing as needed and perform reconciliations to support controls and tax compliance
  • Complete tax-related processes across multiple TD legal entities and business lines
  • Consolidate a high volume of data from multiple sources and load into Tax databases
  • Point of contact for Unclaimed Property Reporting and Asset Recovery for TD Securities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years work experience
  • Experience with Tax, Unclaimed Property, Business Analysis and Project Management
  • Ability to identify, elevate, and resolve problems/issues
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and operational excellence.
  • Flexibility and ability to learn quickly
