Job summary

Alstom in Saint-Bruno, QC seeks a TCMS System Engineer to deliver engineering solutions for in-service fleets. You will develop changes, validate modifications, and manage interfaces between Vehicle and TCMS engineering, ensuring safe, compliant designs.

The role requires hands-on experience with legacy tools, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to work in an evolving environment across North America. Fluency in English and French is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Software engineering, Electrical engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• OIQ Member or CEP (asset).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in embedded systems / control systems; read electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and ensure engineering processes meet requirements.
• Validate vehicle modifications against industry standards and risk criteria.
• Participate in design reviews with internal teams and customers.
• Develop interface requirements and manage cross-functional design reviews.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to track progress and resources.
• Lead design lifecycle from concept to realization and BOM creation.
• Identify improvements and optimize component implementations.
• Support Bid Teams with technical solutions and cost estimates.
• Plan workload to ensure on-time delivery against the Engineering Plan.
