Job summary

Powell River Educational Services Society is hiring a full-time Taxi Driver to support community mobility in Powell River and surrounding areas. You will operate a taxi vehicle safely, provide friendly customer service, and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.

This role requires a valid commercial driving license, clean driving record, the ability to manage cash transactions, and strong knowledge of local routes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record and appropriate licensing for commercial driving.
• Experience in driving, preferably in passenger transportation.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent time management abilities to meet schedules reliably.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly; knowledge of local streets, routes, and traffic regulations.
• Physical stamina to sit for extended periods and assist passengers if necessary.
• Preference for candidates with open availability.
• Preference will be given to candidates available to work graveyard shifts.
