The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. in Markham, Ontario seeks a Tax Manager to lead Canadian federal and provincial tax compliance, audits, and planning efforts. You will coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accurate tax filings and prudent positions.

Responsibilities cover transfer pricing, sales and income tax, and SOX controls, with opportunities to shape tax strategy across the organization and collaborate with NY Corporate Tax and regional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience managing federal and provincial tax audits and planning.
• Ability to analyze data and provide tax recommendations aligned with regulations.
• Knowledge of transfer pricing for Canadian and international tax.
• Experience with ASC 740 US GAAP income taxes accounting.
• Proficiency with SAP and Excel for data extraction and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Canadian Federal and Provincial income tax audits and coordinate responses.
• Assist with Canadian Federal and Provincial income tax planning and restructurings.
• M&A tax integration and support.
• Plan and manage Canadian Federal and Provincial income tax return filings (T2, T106, 1134b, NR4).
• Oversee quarterly and year-end tax provisions and SOX compliance.
• Manage Canadian Federal and Provincial sales tax audits and timely filings.
• Provide transfer pricing documentation and support.
