You’ll provide technical leadership, guide cross-border matters, and manage risk while coaching teams and growing EY’s U.S. Tax practice in Canada.

Strong U.S. corporate/partnership tax expertise and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive U.S. tax experience with corporate/partnership focus.
• Experience leading teams and managing engagements.
• Strong technical research and client-ready communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple complex U.S. tax engagements end-to-end.
• Serve as primary client contact with tax leaders and stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership on U.S. corporate and partnership taxation.
• Guide cross-border tax issue spotting with global teams.
• Review key deliverables and manage risk, quality, and timelines.
• Coach managers and staff to build high-performing teams.
• Lead engagement economics: scope, budgeting, resourcing.
• Support business development through proposals and account planning.
• Contribute to national initiatives in recruitment and learning.
