The opportunity

As a Tax Staff, you will be a part of our Global Compliance and Reporting Group. You can expect a unique insight into our business, where you’ll build a network of relationships in an area that influences major business decisions every day.

Your key responsibilities

• Combine corporate tax work with structured and virtual learning.
• Work experience in tax compliance, tax accrual reviews, tax provisions, and tax planning.
• Contribute to client satisfaction by providing quality, timely, and responsive services.
• Demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts.
• Discuss moderately complex tax issues with the engagement team and client management.
• Prepare practical and effective approaches to the client's tax situation.
• Prepare corporate tax returns and audit tax provisions.
• Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals.

To qualify for the role you must have

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or a diploma in accounting with a minimum of 2 years of relevant tax/accounting experience; or equivalent experience in business or industry.
• A passionate interest in developing Canadian income tax knowledge.
• Exceptional PC proficiency including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• The ability to manage time and ensure timely completion of exceptional client service.
