Job summary

EY is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Global Compliance & Reporting group in Canada, coordinating corporate, personal, trust, and partnership tax work for clients across industries. You will lead engagements, coach junior staff, and apply current tax developments to deliver high-quality services.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of Canadian corporate tax experience, an accounting designation, and complete CPA In-Depth Tax Course. A strong emphasis on leadership and communication is required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of Canadian corporate tax experience.
• Completion of CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course.
• Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise multiple tax engagements for diverse clients.
• Manage and coordinate tax compliance and provision work.
• Coach and mentor junior staff to ensure accuracy.
• Stay up to date on tax developments and apply to client situations.
• Identify opportunities for tax planning and special services.
