Job description

Our client is a leading Accounting, Tax and Advisory firm with a strong regional and global reach. They are currently in search of a highly experienced Tax Manager to join their team in Toronto.

Your new role

In this new role you will be involved in a variety of tax files and tax planning engagements assisting clients with various tax matters, providing research and technical support, identifying and handling issues on files, and supporting the marketing initiatives of the practice. In this role you will lead multiple client facing engagement teams responsible for the completion of tax engagements. You will deliver industry and technical expertise taxation and assurance through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and high-quality deliverables. Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients and participate in developing new opportunities.

What you will need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 4 years of relevant public accounting or tax consulting experience. A CPA designation and completion of the In-Depth Tax Program is required. Knowledge of Caseware and TaxPrep will be a bonus. You can work well under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. You will also have strong teamwork skills, be trustworthy, accountable, proactive, and have a positive work attitude. In addition, you must have a strong understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles and proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills.
