Working Conditions

The Tax Manager position will be based at GMIN’s corporate office in Brossard, Quebec, with flexible working arrangements depending on the candidate’s home location. Travel to GMIN’s subsidiaries and project locations across the Americas may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise corporate income tax compliance across the Corporation’s international operations, including tax returns, payments, tax attributes, and related filings.
  • Oversee quarterly and annual tax accounting under IAS 12, including current and deferred tax calculations, effective tax rate analysis, and financial statement disclosures.
  • Coordinate international tax matters, including withholding taxes, cross-border financing, cash repatriation, permanent establishment considerations, and intercompany transactions.

  • Experience working with multinational organizations and cross-border tax matters.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and IAS 12.
  • Experience with transfer pricing and international tax compliance.
  • Mining, natural resources, or other capital-intensive industry experience is preferred.
