Your key responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of tax advisory and controversy, including:

  • Assisting clients with federal and provincial audits, advising on tax dispute resolution, preparing notices of objection, and representing clients in tax appeals before courts.
  • Preparing legal opinions on tax consequences of transactions and performing post-transaction audits for tax efficacy and litigation risk.

  • Sound professional judgment and high professionalism

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 1 to 5 years of tax litigation and controversy experience at a leading law firm

  • Membership in good standing with the Canadian Bar
