About the Opportunity

An established private family office with a sophisticated, global investment structure is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its growing team in Montreal. For over two decades, this family office has managed a multi-generational investment portfolio of institutional scale, offering a uniquely professional, mission-driven, and dynamic environment.

You will join a high-performing, collaborative finance and tax group, working alongside seasoned professionals in a workplace that promotes continuous learning, professional autonomy, and work-life balance. Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and file Canadian corporate, trust, partnership, and individual tax returns
  • Complete compliance forms : T106, T1134, T1135, T2054, T2057, NR4, T5, etc.
  • Assist in U.S. and international tax compliance (W-8BEN-E, W9, W8IMY)
  • Maintain key tax balances : safe income, surplus accounts, ACB, at-risk amounts, CDA
  • Assist with tax payments and coordinate remittances to tax authorities
  • Prepare quarterly tax provisions and balance of tax
  • Support external audits and respond to queries from tax authorities
  • Conduct tax research and provide analysis on evolving legislation and rulings
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and technology adoption
  • Collaborate in investment due diligence and tax planning projects across jurisdictions
  • Assist in restructuring and global tax compliance initiatives

Who You Are :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or commerce
  • CPA designation required
  • Master’s in Taxation or CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program (completed or in progress) is an asset
  • 2–5 years of tax experience in public practice or private industry
  • Solid experience in tax compliance; exposure to international tax is an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Excellent at managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem solver with a collaborative mindset
