About You :

You are a detail-oriented tax professional with a solid understanding of U.S. federal and state tax regulations. You have experience preparing tax filings, analyzing tax data, and supporting compliance and reporting processes. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate clearly, and are eager to grow your expertise in corporate tax within a dynamic and fast-paced organization.

Responsibilities

  • Research and prepare Federal and State corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and timeliness across the US, including extensions and estimated payments
  • Analyze general ledger activity for tax reporting purposes and perform detailed reconciliations and variance analysis of tax-related general ledger accounts
  • Conduct tax research and document positions on U.S. tax issues to support compliance and planning initiatives
  • Assist in audit responses and tax authority reviews, responding to tax notices, preparing data packages, communicate with tax authorities, and drafting technical explanations as needed
  • Assisting in the development of company policies and tax optimization strategies related by conducting research and providing actionable insights to senior leaders
  • Support tax forecasting, scenario modeling, and monitoring of tax legislation to assess potential business impacts with a large focus on US and International tax
  • Maintain organized records and documentation to support both internal controls and regulatory compliance with US Federal, State and International tax legislation
  • Serve as a resource for internal and external inquiries, providing tax-related insights to finance teams, business units, and auditors
  • Synthesize tax data and research to deliver actionable insights and updates to senior stakeholders
  • Stay up to date on U.S. and International tax legislation and changes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • CPA designation (or international equivalent) required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate income tax, analysis, compliance, and financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of US tax legislation and State level tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with data manipulation and analysis (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate tax concepts
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
