Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Tasks:

1. Plan, set up and administer accounting systems
2. Train staff
3. Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
4. Prepare reports and audit findings
5. Prepare financial statements and reports
6. Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
7. Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements
8. Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
9. Analyze financial documents and reports
10. Examine accounting records
11. Provide financial, business and tax advice
