Hourly Wage: $23–$25 (based on experience) + sales commissions, wine club incentives, and tips
Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time (Seasonal) | Weekend & Holiday Availability Required

POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a passionate and charismatic TASTING ROOM HOST to join our hospitality team. This role plays a vital part in delivering unforgettable guest experiences, promoting direct-to-consumer wine sales, and growing our wine club and allocation programs. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about wine, naturally welcoming, and thrives in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide exceptional hospitality that showcases the Martinelli family legacy and estate-grown wines.
• Lead guests through engaging tastings in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Communicate our winery story and wine portfolio with clarity and enthusiasm, tailoring to guest interest.
• Promote wine sales and encourage sign-ups for the allocation list and wine club.
• Prepare cheese plates and accompaniments for curated tasting experiences.
• Process purchases accurately using the POS system.
• Assist with setup, service, and breakdown of winery events and private tastings.
• Maintain clean, organized, and polished hospitality spaces, including dishwashing and glassware care.
• Restock wine and merchandise, receive deliveries, and assist with order packing.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 1–2 years of tasting room, retail, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience with Commerce7 POS is a plus.
• Strong sales aptitude and a passion for wine education.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Friendly, team-oriented, and dependable work ethic.
• Well-organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Hourly Pay: $23–$25/hour, based on experience
