Reporting to the Underground Manager, the Tandem Dump Truck Driver will be responsible for safely hauling and delivering gravel, soil, and other aggregate materials to and from job sites.

How You’ll Add Value

• Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive work environment
• Experience hauling gravel, soil, and aggregates with tandem axle dump trucks
• Strong knowledge of load securement and weight distribution
• Ability to safely operate in both urban and construction site environments
• Commitment to safety and following company and traffic regulations
  
  

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following: Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of experience operating tandem dump trucks in construction or hauling environments
• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with a Driver’s Abstract showing no more than 6 demerits and no major infractions
• Strong understanding of load securement and safe hauling practices
• Ability to navigate construction sites and follow designated haul routes
• Knowledge of pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic truck maintenance
• Physically able to safely lift and carry 40 lbs regularly
• Willing to travel and work out of town for short, fixed-term periods, as needed
