A global testing leader in Metro Vancouver seeks a Talent Sourcer for an 8-week temporary role. You will proactively source candidates through various channels, partner with recruiters to understand role requirements, and build strong pipelines. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition and a degree in Human Resources or related field. This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $25 to $30 per hour.

As a Talent Sourcer , you will play a critical role in identifying and engaging top talent to support our recruiting efforts. This position focuses on proactively sourcing qualified candidates through a variety of channels, including online databases, social media, networking, and direct outreach. You'll work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and build strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Success in this role requires curiosity, creativity, and a passion for connecting people with the right opportunities.
This is a temporary full time 8 week contract .
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract talent for both high volume and niche, hard to fill roles
Leverage a variety of sourcing channels to build robust pipelines
Ability to manage multiple searches at a time & prioritize based on urgency & business impact
Partner closely with recruiters to understand role requirements
Identify & screen candidates effectively based on job requirements
Track sourcing performance metrics & use data to optimize sourcing efforts
Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong c ommunication and follow through skills
Ability to engage candidates effectively
Familiar with sourcing tools
Boolean search experience
Comfortable with tracking, reporting and metrics
Self motivated , results driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target driven environment
Experience working in a collaborative team environment
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources , Business or related field would be an asset
2+ years experience talent acquisition experience ( ie , recruiting, sourcing) or industry experience related to the role
2+ years experience with sourcing or recruiting
Experience in scientific or technical industry would be an asset
An estimated annual salary ranging from $25-$30 at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities;
Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day
Ability to communicate via telephone and email without assistance
