We are seeking a proactive Talent Development Specialist to design and implement innovative talent programs, fostering an engaged, high-performing workforce aligned with our strategic goals. The role involves collaboration across teams, development of training materials, and measurement of program effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support employee engagement initiatives through workshops, events, and projects.
  • Facilitate performance conversations with the People & Talent Management team and leaders.
  • Create inclusive training and development programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Support talent management, career development, and performance management initiatives.
  • Design and develop training materials, including manuals and e-learning modules.
  • Build networks with partners and leaders to support training efforts.
  • Integrate company values and strategy into training content.
  • Assess and improve training program effectiveness using assessment tools.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions.
  • Develop competency models and inclusive training platforms.
  • Track training outcomes and recommend improvements.
  • Make data-informed decisions to stay current with industry trends.
  • Manage project tasks and administrative duties related to training programs.
  • Oversee learning programs within the Learning Management System (LMS).

Qualifications

  • Degree/diploma in Human Resources, Education, Leadership, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
  • CHRP and/or CTDP designation preferred.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience in adult learning and organizational development.
  • Experience in change management, cultural transformation, and project management.
  • Experience with unionized workforces is a plus.
  • Proficiency in blended learning approaches and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skills in needs analysis, training strategy, and performance management.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and instructional design skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
