What You’ll Do:- Design and lead a best-in-class onboarding journey, including welcome materials, training sessions, and orientation content tailored to diverse roles and regions.
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to offer, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience throughout.
- Lead 30/60/90-day check-ins with new hires to support onboarding, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with role expectations.
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations and onboarding sessions—both in-person and virtually—that make new hires feel welcomed, equipped, and excited.
- Champion remote hiring and onboarding, ensuring consistency and connection across offices, job sites, and locations.
- Build tools and templates for hiring managers to support consistent, effective training and employee integration.
- Track and evaluate new hire progress during the first 90 days, identifying support needs and ensuring successful transitions into the business.
- Work closely with hiring managers to align recruitment with business needs and train them on effective hiring and onboarding practices.
- Represent BELFOR’s employer brand at career fairs, industry events, and through creative recruitment campaigns.
- Optimize our recruitment and onboarding workflows—you’ll have the freedom to refine processes, implement new ideas, and drive real impact.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
What You Bring:- A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, Recruitment, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience (corporate or high-volume preferred).
- Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills—you’re confident leading sessions for diverse audiences, virtually and in-person.
- Strong understanding of remote work dynamics, with experience onboarding distributed teams and ensuring connection from a distance.
- Strong organizational and communication skills—you’re a relationship-builder who thrives on helping others succeed.
- Experience with recruitment tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS systems like ADP Workforce Now).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual communication tools (Google Meet, Zoom).
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
- Based in Windsor, ON or surrounding areas.
