Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter

The Role

At Trindent Consulting, we have an opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter to join our HR team based at our offices in downtown George Street, Toronto.

This role is ideal for someone wishing to develop their career in management consultancy and enjoy industry-leading benefits.

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • Significant recruitment experience in the Engineering, Energy, or Oil & Gas industries
  • Operational, Corporate, or in-house recruitment experience
  • Proven ability to generate exceptional candidates
  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills

Established relationship building and management skills

  • Extensive knowledge of HR practices and onboarding procedures
  • The ability to communicate effectively with highly qualified candidates at all levels
  • Practical experience with Applicant Tracking Systems

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will drive the recruitment of professional services staff to meet Trindent Consulting's ongoing needs. You will work closely with the Administration and HR team to meet objectives and provide internal support as needed.

  • Manage job postings across relevant platforms, evaluate applicants, and implement initiatives to improve applicant quality
  • Pre-screen and interview prospective candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience by acting as the initial contact, addressing inquiries, and establishing professional relationships
  • Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are incorporated throughout the recruitment process
  • Build and maintain an active and engaged candidate pipeline, proactively staffing upcoming projects
  • Maintain up-to-date recruiting records and databases
  • Liaise with management and provide weekly updates on recruitment progress and pipeline status
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
