  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective acquisition targets and strategic partners.
  • Conduct market research, industry analysis, and competitive assessments to identify attractive markets and potential opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain organized databases, tracking systems, and reporting tools related to business development and deal activity.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and investment partners to evaluate opportunities and develop strategic investment theses.
  • Manage the deal origination process from initial contact through evaluation, negotiations, and letter of intent.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external advisors throughout the transaction process.
  • Prepare presentations, analyses, and briefing materials for senior leadership and board-level discussions.
  • Track multiple initiatives simultaneously while ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and next steps remain organized and clearly communicated.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate development, business development, investment banking, private equity, M&A, or another transaction-focused environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently in situations where priorities and information may be constantly evolving.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop relationships, and move projects forward.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating detailed analyses, reports, and presentations for senior executives or other decision-makers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise sound judgment when evaluating strategic opportunities.
  • Remote position with occasional in-person meetings as required.
  • Some flexibility may be needed outside of standard business hours depending on business needs, deadlines, and stakeholder availability.
  • Occasional travel to meetings, industry events, or company locations may be required.
