Job summary

Execaire Aviation in Canada is seeking a Recruitment leader responsible for end-to-end talent acquisition and onboarding. You will develop hiring plans, cultivate contacts across universities, agencies, and social channels, and drive equity-focused outreach to fill vacancies with internal and external talent.

The role requires 8+ years in recruitment, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with SAP/SuccessFactors, MS Office, and social media sourcing.

Qualifications

• University degree in human resources or related field.
• 8+ years recruitment / talent management experience.
• CHRP / CRHA designation an asset.
• Experience with SAP / SuccessFactors.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, social media platforms, and candidate sourcing methods.
• Perfect bilingualism (French and English) essential.

• Perform job postings and recruitment activities for unionized, salaried, and management positions.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic recruitment and selection plan.
• Manage and perform the orientation and onboarding of new employees (HR portion).
• Coordinate, develop, and maintain communication with recruitment contacts.
• Coordinate and participate in recruitment events and job fairs.
• Administer postings and update recruitment reports.
• Be able to adapt to changes and assume other essential tasks.

Summary

Responsible for recruitment, selection, and talent management of candidates for vacant positions at Execaire Aviation. The incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing hiring plans to effectively fill vacant positions with internal and external talent, using best practices in talent acquisition. This includes developing and maintaining contacts with college placement offices, professional associations, agencies, military bases, the Internet, and social media, as well as community organizations, including designated and equity-seeking groups, to establish and maintain recruitment links, prescreening, interviews, reference checks, orientation, and formulating recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Perform job postings and recruitment activities for unionized, salaried (non-unionized), and management positions, as assigned, such as preparing hiring requests, job postings, candidate tracking, sorting, assisting in the development of interview protocols, conducting interviews, selection, offering, hiring, and integration.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic recruitment and selection plan.
• Manage and perform the orientation and onboarding of new employees (HR portion).
• Coordinate, develop, and maintain communication with recruitment contacts.
• Coordinate and participate in recruitment events and job fairs.
• Administer postings and update recruitment reports.
• Be able to adapt effectively to changes and assume any other essential assigned tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality, fairness, and integrity in all spheres of responsibility.
• Participate in IMP recruitment collaborations and meetings.

Requirements

• University degree in a field related to human resources
• Proven experience in recruitment / talent management (8+ years)
• CHRP / CRHA professional designation an asset
• Experience with SAP / SuccessFactors
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently
• Strong aptitude for understanding client needs to assess candidate potential
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work effectively in a team while responding to competing priorities and deadlines
• Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite, social media platforms, and candidate sourcing methods
• Perfect bilingualism (French and English) essential
