Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Talent Acquisition Specialist with 3+ years experience in recruitment, preferably with experience recruiting healthcare providers. In this role, you will be responsible for full cycle recruitment efforts to attract top dental clinic talent across Canada (specifically Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta) and to ensure exceptional hiring experiences. Your work will directly contribute to our overall success by providing unparalleled support to clinic professionals while maintaining our commitment to excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment of dentists, dental assistants, dental hygienists, practice managers, and all clinical support staff across general dentistry and orthodontic clinics.
  • Able to develop end to end recruitment strategies.
  • Advise and direct hiring managers across the country on best practices pertaining to recruitment and selection.
  • Proactively source and recruit top-tier professionals by building and maintaining relationships internally, externally with colleges, dental associations, educational organizations and recruitment agencies.
  • Able to headhunt dental professionals in and for metropolitan and rural markets.
  • Create and maintain an external pool of candidates.
  • Leverage job boards, associations, education institutions, forums, social media and events in recruitment efforts.
  • Build and maintain a recruitment database and data analytics.
  • Proficient with reporting recruitment metrics.
  • Stay informed about dental industry trends in recruitment and as well as applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Ensure seamless candidate experiences, from initial contact through onboarding, fostering a positive employer brand that is consistent with our values and culture.
  • Work onsite from our corporate head office with the potential of travel to our clinics to provide recruitment support.
  • Support and participate in various other HR projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in full cycle recruitment, ideally within the healthcare, or dental industries.
  • Understanding of the recruitment landscape for dental professionals, including knowledge of dental roles and responsibilities is an asset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with candidates, dental schools, and partners.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, recruitment marketing tools, and social media for sourcing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions effectively while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
