Position:

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Canada. You will be responsible for leading NSUS Group’s talent acquisition function, specifically sourcing and screening candidates in line with corporate culture and image, and supporting business stakeholders in filling open positions (requisitions). You will report to the HR Director and collaborate with business stakeholders across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition

  • Creatively source, screen, and support recruitment for all regions and all levels of the organization
  • Schedule interviews and candidate assessments
  • Build headhunter and external recruitment relationships
  • Manage, track, and fill requisitions
  • Maintain and update recruitment trackers and dashboards
  • Analyze and provide insights on recruitment metrics
  • Other recruitment duties as may be assigned

Talent Management and HR

  • Support onboarding and new hire set up, when and if applicable
  • Support tracking and maintenance of performance and salary review infrastructure
  • Other talent development support duties as may be assigned
  • Cross-train and support Global HR duties, when and if applicable

Qualifications:

  • 1 years experience in in Recruitment and/or HR
  • Proficiency with GSuite, MS Office, and Adobe products
  • Experience with Slack or similar programs and able to communicate directly
  • Able to take instructions and solve problems without creating work for others

Profile Differentiators:

  • Prior experience in Executive and/or Admin Assistant roles in an busy startup environment
  • Able to escalate red flags, hurdles, and gaps in performance and operations
