Talent Acquisition Specialist 85K base + bonus
Our client is seeking a motivated, passionate and agile Recruiter to join their team. Reporting to the VP, People & Culture, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end recruitment process for both salary & hourly positions. Your ability to build effective and consultative relationships with business partners will support your success. In addition to key recruiting functions you will work collaboratively with other team members to contribute to projects and further enhance the company’s brand.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process; including qualifying, pre-screening and conducting behavioral-based interviews with potential candidates
- Planning and executing strategic sourcing plans for open roles and funnel requisitions through use of internal and external marketing opportunities
- Preparation of job postings, interview guides, offer letters and documents required for on-boarding new employees, including new hire orientation
- Acting as a trusted consultant to hiring managers; partnering to determine staffing requirements and supporting conversations relating to hiring decisions
- Increase awareness of the organization as an employer of choice through various branding initiatives and effective communication of their employer value proposition (EVP). Identify new recruitment and branding opportunities and make recommendations to enhance recruitment best practices
- Work in collaboration with HR Business Partners to provide guidance on recruitment and selection processes
- Ensuring hiring practices are followed consistently and fairly
- Participate in the maintenance and preparation of weekly recruitment reports and provide data driven updates to hiring managers
- Maintain accurate candidate and job tracking within the ATS
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
- A minimum of 5 years of full cycle recruitment experience required, ideally with some manufacturing exposure
- Familiarity conducting behavioral based interviews and liaising with internal and external parties
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task is required. Ability to coordinate daily tasks and ongoing projects effectively and efficiently within specified timeframes
- Strong communication, both verbally and in writing, including the ability to influence and effectively negotiate
- Excellent listening and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in a variety of software packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and HRIS/ATS. Strong customer service focus for both internal and external customers/partners
