Canada Cartage is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Driver Recruiter to support growth by attracting and hiring top talent across the transportation and logistics sector in Ontario, with periodic travel. Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for drivers and a variety of roles across the business, primarily within Ontario with occasional support in other regions.
• Source, screen, and assess candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements and company standards.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and operations teams to understand hiring needs and priorities.
• Support recruitment marketing initiatives, including job postings, campaigns, and employer branding efforts.
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for high-volume roles.
• Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and turnover.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, candidate experience, and overall recruitment effectiveness.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist / Driver Recruiter plays a key role in supporting Canada Cartage’s growth by attracting and hiring top talent across the transportation and logistics sector.

This role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, with a strong focus on driver hiring, while also supporting a variety of roles across the business. We are open to candidates earlier in their careers who are eager to learn, grow, and build expertise in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Location: On-site at 6767 Davand Drive, Mississauga, Ontario

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Day Shift)

Note: Period travel is required, off-site. A car and valid driver license are essential.

What You Will Do

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for drivers and a variety of roles across the business, primarily within Ontario with occasional support in other regions

What You’ll Bring

• 1–3 years of recruitment experience (or related experience in HR, staffing, or high-volume hiring)
• Transportation or logistics experience is an asset
• Exposure to full-cycle or high-volume recruitment environments
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is an asset
• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) is preferred
