Job DescriptionWhat you’ll be doingAs the newest member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will be a key strategic advisor to our hiring teams as they work towards their growth goals. You will provide full-cycle recruitment support to teams across Canada, and provide consultative advice to hiring managers on advertising, selection, interviews, offers, and negotiation.
Your ability to build strong working relationships with leaders and hiring managers will be critical to your success, as will your ability to attract and source high-quality talent through a variety of platforms. Strong communication abilities, a high level of responsiveness, and a client-centric mindset are all key qualities that will help you succeed in this role.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey Accountabilities:- Partner with the business and become a trusted advisor to hiring managers
- Provide recruitment services across multiple service lines and technical disciplines
- Utilize various networks and online platforms to engage and secure candidates that fit the role requirements and values of SLR
- Assist with offer negotiations and provide compensation advice
- Keep up to date with employment legislation relevant to recruitment across Canada
- Assist with salary benchmarking and identifying/reporting market trends
- Assist with talent sourcing strategies and plans to increase the pipeline of talent for future business growth
- Support projects and process improvements, working with global Talent Acquisition team
- Assist with implementation of new HRIS system (Workday)

Qualifications- 10+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience
- 5+ years recruiting in the environmental services/engineering/mining industries
- An understanding of the national recruitment landscape, and experience recruiting across multiple provinces
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to source and attract passive candidates
- Experience with Workday is a significant asset
- Based in Guelph or Toronto with flexible work options
