The Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and recommending candidates for open positions within the company. This role works closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining candidate databases, using recruitment tools, and implementing best practices in hiring.

Candidate Sourcing
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify talent using various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, employee referrals, recruitment agencies)
  • Build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
  • Attend job fairs, career events, and network with potential candidates.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtual, with candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job specifications.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience through timely communication and updates throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases with relevant information and status updates.
  • Manage job offer negotiations, pre-employment screening, and the onboarding process.
  • Partner with department heads and hiring managers to determine current and future hiring needs.
  • Advise on market trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring best practices.
  • Provide hiring managers with insights and recommendations on candidate selection.
  • Ensure that all recruitment activities comply with company policies, labor laws, and employment regulations.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, applicant-to-hire ratios).

Bilingual French/English, written and spoken.

Experience with high-level recruiting or talent acquisition within a corporate environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with candidates at all levels.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing candidate information effectively.

Familiarity with various recruitment tools.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple open roles and prioritize tasks effectively.
