Job Function & Responsibilities:

As this is a cross‑functional role, you will support all Managers by:

  • Sourcing high‑potential candidates using your network and developing new ones for the firm
  • Utilizing various sourcing techniques, including direct contact, social media, job boards, internet searches, and our website
  • Proactively building a talent pipeline and identifying new sourcing strategies
  • Organizing pre‑screening meetings, coordinating interviews, and maintaining an organized calendar
  • Conducting telephone and in‑person interviews to pre‑qualify candidates before scheduling with CFA management
  • Contacting and interviewing candidate references
  • Providing regular reports to management on recruitment outcomes and recommending improvements
  • Participating in projects to build, pilot, and enhance our sourcing capabilities
  • Partnering with senior management to guide the offer negotiation process
  • Staying updated on recruitment trends and tools to build effective strategies
  • Ensuring legal compliance in our hiring practices

Qualifications:

  • Strong people and communication skills with the ability to effectively promote CFA to potential candidates
  • Knowledge of the civil engineering consulting industry or a similar technical industry
  • Ability to directly contact potential candidates via telephone or in person and be the “front‑face” of CFA
  • 3-5 years of experience sourcing and recruiting candidates in a technical (engineering) environment
  • Proficiency in sourcing candidates from social media, professional associations, and online platforms
  • Strong social media skills
  • Experience in recruiting for multiple types and levels of positions using behavioral interview techniques
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships both internally and externally
  • Collaborative team player with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
  • Positive problem‑solving attitude and professionalism
  • Ability to present ideas, status reports, and other presentations to various groups within the organization
  • Alignment with CFA’s Vision 2025
  • Experience in Change Management within a consulting environment where priorities can change

Reporting Structure:

This role reports to the President but involves working with, supporting, and collaborating with all Managers across the organization.
