Job description

Description - Talent Acquisition Specialist

  • We are seeking a contract Talent Acquisition Partner to support Intern hiring in North America, with an emphasis on Quebec. The TA Partner will generate excitement in this space and facilitate a pipeline of interns to long-term employment.

Responsibilities

  • Support and hire global interns via assigned requisitions.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, focusing on strong hiring manager partnerships, cross-functional stakeholder collaboration, and candidate advocacy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive experience and support team hiring goals.
  • Work consultatively with hiring teams to ensure optimal hiring decisions.
  • Use tools (Gem, Workday, Greenhouse) to track candidates and maintain data for reporting.
  • Drive the offer process, including extending offers, negotiating, closing candidates, and generating offer letters.

Qualifications

  • Passion for early career programs and understanding of the college tech skills market in Quebec. Experience hiring tech talent in Central Canada and/or the US is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills and adaptability to shifting priorities.
  • Proven ability to execute process initiatives, solve problems proactively, and communicate effectively with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment and comfort with ambiguity, able to act quickly and pivot as needed.

Employment conditions

  • 40 hours/week
  • Fully remote position
  • Bilingual required, with understanding of Montreal/francophone market
  • Potential to participate in local school events if based in Montreal
