Trolley (Formerly Payment Rails) is a B2B SaaS payouts platform for the on-demand economy. We are helping modern businesses and platforms pay their on-demand workers and suppliers all around the world, whether it be freelancers, photographers, drivers, hosts, artists, influencers, developers, musicians, or one of the 500 Million (and growing fast!) people working as an independent contractor (aka freelancing). We help businesses not just pay these workers globally, but also automate all the other financial operations (finops) tasks like collecting and validating bank info, completion of tax forms, AML screening, handling FX conversions to 135+ currencies, reconciling to your accounting/ERP system, and many other tasks which saves our customers a heap of time and money.

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end recruitment efforts across all regions, with a strong emphasis on fast-paced, high-quality technical hiring. You'll be responsible for building a scalable, modern recruitment engine that combines the right tools with an exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle hiring for technical and business roles across Canada, US, UK and other jurisdictions as needed.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and co-develop hiring plans.
  • Own the recruitment tech stack, leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline sourcing, screening, and coordination.
  • Ensure structured interviews, equity in hiring practices, and strong employer branding touchpoints.
  • Own recruitment metrics: time-to-fill, pipeline quality, sourcing ROI.
  • Own recruitment process, and continuously optimize it.
  • Collaborate on onboarding transitions and support ad-hoc P&C tasks when bandwidth allows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional working experience in a talent and/or recruitment focused role.
  • At least 1+ year experience of technical recruitment for software developer/engineering roles.
  • Working experience using Greenhouse or similar as an ATS system.
  • You have a solid understanding of recruitment best practices, compensation benchmarking, employer branding, etc.
  • You are results-driven and data-driven, capable of meeting aggressive timelines with enthusiasm and supporting proposals with quantitative analyses.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and are bilingual, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals across the organization in both English and French.
  • Candidates who have a mix of agency and corporate recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Resourceful, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and navigating ambiguity.
  • Warm and authentic communicator, able to build trust and connection throughout the recruitment process.
  • Highly autonomous, with the ability to manage responsibilities independently and prioritize effectively.
  • You have a sharp intuition for team fit.
